In the six months or so of making Saturday Morning Twilight, the album went through a near-complete re-write before it came into its final form.
At the time, I was enamored with a couple albums that I tried to emulate like Gas' "Pop" and Jane's "Berserker". I tried to see how I could twist the drone/dance formula into something that was my own, but it ultimately felt flat.
